won't go fullscreen when "Displays have separate spaces"

Postby Jeanr » 18 Sep 2024 04:52

Hello,
we use VLC for video file playback on a "secondary display"/ video projector.
we often would like to use the computer in "displays have separate spaces" mode in order to look at our schedule/ prep a slideshow, but found VLC won't go in full screen mode on the selected secondary display when using "cmd-f".
Any one experiencing this behaviour? Disabling "spaces have separate spaces" makes VLC work as expected.

Running VCL 3.0.21 on an original iMac Pro 2017, Mac OS Sonoma 14.6.1, 3GHz 10 Core Intel Xeon, 64Gigs 2666MHz DDR4

Do you have the "native fullscreen mode" enabled? Does that help?
