VLC Automute

Postby Winjam » 20 Jul 2024 16:34

Hello everyone,
since the last update VLC mutes or pauses every time there is another audio source. Be it a system sound (For example bing when you do a search and it doesn't find the term) does anyone know which option I have to disable to stop this from happening?

Thanks

VLC pauses automatically when the audio system preempts it. But automatic muting is something that the audio system does and VLC cannot stop. You'd need to check the settings for PulseAudio, WirePlumber or whatever audio policing is on your computer.
