.jpg files are multiplying in my music directories

Postby jkt114 » 30 Mar 2024 14:09

I am playing .flac files with linux vlc on a disk partitioned for linux and windows. I am running on linux, but I am accessing my music directories on the windows partition. I am seeing .jpg files with names like "AlbumArt_{A4ABF5BF-78C6-4717-BAD9-E61E2625D260}_Large.jpg" and "AlbumArtSmall.jpg" proliferate in my windows music directories hierarchy.

I have played the same flac files with vlc on windows without this problem.

I am a user, I don't know a lot about vlc, All I know is that vlc is the program that is playing my flac files and displaying album art.

Can anyone suggest what may be going on? Thanks!
