Attempting to play a video on an iPad Pro with an external display (in my case, a studio display) VLC provides the message “This video is playing on the TV”. The result is audio and no video. If the app is running on the iPad, the external display goes black and there is no video, only audio.
It would be nice to be able to select the display or have it just work (and in full screen on either the iPad display or external display).
