UPnP Cannot play recordings from Humax, Windows or Android

Hello all
Until now I have been able to play recordings from my Humax FVP-5000T in Windows 10 Pro or Android by opening VLC, showing Media Library and doing the following:
Select Local Network
then
Select Universal Plug'n'Play
Humax is then shown as
FVP-5000T 192.168.1.24 - double click on this
Shows My Contents - double click
This shows
Internal HDD
Recordings
Double click Recordings and get list of recordings which I can then play in VLC.

I have recently started using ProtonVPN and am no longer able to play these recordings. When ProtonVPN is connected selecting Universal Plug'n'Play leads to vlc hanging and nothing happens.
If I disconnect ProtonVPN then selecting Universal Plug'n'Play allows me to select the Humax box and to display a list of recordings.
Selecting any recording to play thenleads to a dialog stating
Your input can't be opened VLC is unable to open the MRL 'http://192.168.124:9000/web/pvr/HCONTENT.270.ts'.
Check the log for details
This then repeats for each following entry in the list.
Can anyone please help ?
I have the VLC log files but cannot see any way to attach them.

I have looked a bit deeper and switched on verbose mode in log output and get the following, selecting the third from last file in the list

I cannot understand why the playback has suddenly stopped working after working for weeks.

Hello again
I don't know why but when I tried to watch the recordings from my Humax on my pc this morning everything
started working again.
I have done nothing to the pc but it now works.
Very strange!
