Startup Several Streams on Startup

Postby Sparky2018 » 03 Aug 2023 18:09

Hello, I have about 10 cameras that I am using VLC to convert rtsp to http. Is there a way to create a file that will automatically run and start all streaming in case of computer shutdown? Right now I just go in and manually plug in the settings for each one and have 10 instances open. If this has already been answered I apologize. Just looking for a way for it to do it on its own.

You can write a shell script or a Batch file, yes. Check the OS documentation.

Thanks! Do you know where I could find an example of or step by step way of completing a batch file?

Ok, let me rephrase. Is there an example of a batch file for multiple streams somewhere? I know how to make a batch file. Just did not want to have to reinvent the wheel if not necessary.
