I've searched quite a bit and read the user manual, so I apologize if I've missed this. It seemed like it should have been simple.
I've just switched to an iPhone from Android and want to keep a bunch of my music in FLAC on my phone, and to avoid iTunes getting its tentacles into my library. Once again in my life, it looks like VLC to the rescue!
However, I'm having trouble moving files onto the phone via VLC; I moved a few files via "sharing via WiFi" but it was tedious and required me to watch and retry fairly frequent fails, and I have many files to move (about 200GB worth).
So I started setting up Cloud Services with Google Drive; the release notes and documentation made it sound like the default was to load files onto the device and the possibility to stream them had only just been added. However, I can't find any means of starting a sync that does a directory structure. It looks like I would have to manually go through and hit the download arrow for each of the thousands of songs I want to move. What am I missing?
I'm amenable to WiFi, Bluetooth, cable, cloud service, anything... Just so long as it allows me to say "please import all the files in this directory and its subdirectories into my phone."
Thanks for any guidance!
