vlc command line transcode to Shoutcast & Icecast server

Hi all,

I am trying to use vlc command line to transcode a live stream to another Shoutcast and Icecast server. I am using Linux (Debian)

I have tried so many command line options, too many to list.

Could anyone kindly confirm a) it is possible to stream to both Shoutcast and Icecast (not using same command, but that it supports both) and b) could someone kindly share a working example?

To confirm, I would like to take an incoming live stream and send it (at a different bitrate) to a Shoutcast and Icecast server (using one command for each server type).
