Two Icons Leads To All Media Disappearance

Hi,
1) Noticed two VLC icons on my home page.
2) I selected and deleted one of them.
3) Then both disappeared.
4) Reinstalled via App Store. Reinstallation ok….but all my media is gone.

The fact that two icons for the application appeared in your home page is quite odd.
I never experienced something similar. Were the icons identical and leading to the same instance of the application?

If you try to delete the application, a system message notifies you that the data not stored in iCloud will be completely erased from the device by deleting the VLC folder in the Files application.

If this is your case, (if I am not mistaken) I am afraid that your media is gone for good.

Please let us know if this happens again and if you notice steps to reproduce this issue.
