Hello, VLC was working fine for years on my Mac. Now when I playback videos the sound has an echo (or reverb), as if within a large cave. If I use Quicktime or Elmedia video player, the sound is fine, but these apps don't have the subtitle option nor can they play all the video formats like VLC. The echo is also apparent if I use MPEG Streamclip. I tried uninstalling and re-installing a fresh version of VLC, but still have the same reverb problem. Does anyone have a solution?
