VLC 3.5.3 on Android TV 11 Cannot Play DVD .iso Menus

New Android TV Box: MECOOL KM2 Plus running Android TV 11. I loaded VLC from Google Play: ver 3.5.3

I have a large number of commercial DVDs stored as .iso copies on my NAS. I have tested 5 or 6 of them with VLC on this Android TV Box, and the menus do not function properly on any of them. On some, the menu initially shows and lets me start the movie, but if I later select the on-screen icon to return to the menu, the screen always goes black and I can never get it to function again without restarting VLC.

All of these DVD .iso files play perfectly on my Windows computer with VLC 3.5.3.
