Hello.
Three days ago I’ve purchased the z-906 Logitech 5.1 speakers which are connected through optical cable to my sound card on my pc Windows 10.
Needless to say I only use VLC for watching movies, listening to music etc. it’s my favourite player.
The speaker indicator of the control console of these speakers flash for 2-3 seconds at the beginning of every song of an album. That’s normal because it indicates the 3D effect or any effect is selected during listening.
The problem occurs when I play some flac albums.
The speaker indicator flashes and the music stops for a second not at the beginning of the song (which is normal as mentioned above) but for example at the 01:46 of a particular 04:00 song. This happens at the exact same spot of the song - it doesn’t happen randomly to all songs. It may happen to other songs at a particular spot again.
This doesn’t occur when I listen to mp3 or other formats or when I play games or watching movies. It only happens on some flac files (not all of them). I listened to a different music format for the same album and there is no problem.
My question is: is the flac file the culprit or the speakers?
I previously owned the z-5500 Logitech for many years and I had no problem with any music files.
Please help.
Thank you.
