MIDI files playback by clicking with no GUI

I have MIDI files with extension .mid in Win 11 as accompaniment for kid learning piano. When I click on such MIDI file, playback with VLC works fine but full video window is opened with dark screen which is annoying for the kid (of course video lessons with VLC work perfectly). I would like just to play the sound of MIDI by clicking on a .mid file without any user interface opening, how that would be possible?

There is related problem how, instead of playing sound, click and send MIDI file for playback on a keyboard via USB or Bluetooth, how VLC could make it?
