Certain files (of varying non-MOV formats) will not play, or won't play correctly

Only the first few seconds will play correctly in VLC; every other media player will play the whole video.

Example 2: https://www.sendspace.com/file/a5kym1

VLC won't play the audio or video from this at all, but the marker will at least give the appearance of moving through the file's 3:17 running time. Again, other media players (mostly MPC-HC and RealPlayer) don't have an issue.

Example2 is not playing with VLC, neither with MPV but FFplay can play it. Although it throws a lots of error messages:

Strange thing: FFplay detects many video and audio streams while MediaInfo only see one video stream and one audio stream.

Similar as the previous file, MPEG1 NTSC + MP2 encoded with TMPGEnc. It's indeed playing fine with other players without any error or warning messages.
You shoud really open a ticket report as said before.
