expand all ?

Postby Rex Block » 08 Oct 2021 02:39

I have a rather large music collection on my Mac all under ~/Music/local. From there it branches out to subdirectories a thru z, plus a few others.

When opening VLC, I select "My Music" (which opens ~/Music). The local folder is there but there is no way to expand it without clicking on it. And when I do that, VLC starts playing the first media file it finds under there.

Right click->play only opens up the first folder.
Right click->expand all doesn't do anything.

Only the first folders have a tab to expand them. So I can expand "a" but not "b" or "c" or any others.

How do I open the hundreds of music folders I have without clicking on them (and subsequently causing them to be played)?

VLC 3.0.16 macOS Big Sur 11.5
