video does not come back where i left off

i'm talking about leaving a video and coming back where the video left off...

other media players, pot player, etc, has a built it program for you continue watching videos when u leave

VLC does not do with..

for example, i would stop a video at 11:30; i have to write the number down and when i open
vlc to see the program i would start at 11:30...

another example, i would stop the video at 11:30 but when i open back up
the program, vlc does not start at 11:30..

the only time it works is when i have MKV file....

can't do the bookmark....it will delete automatically when leaving..

the other program is too complicated to be understood...
