BigSur Crash when using Java 11 for BR menus

Postby m4CUsR35 » 06 Dec 2020 19:01

I got the message that Java is not installed when reading a BluRay.
I then install Java 11 JDK, and set the JAVA_HOME env variable in my .profile.
But when launching VLC after that, it systematically crashes, even when unselecting the "Use Menus" option.
I had to uninstall Java (uninstalling manually (removing everything) then reinstalling VLC was not changing anything).

Is it not stable yet on Big Sur?
Did I do something wrong?

This is completely untested to be honest. Can you share a crash log, please?
