Vlc won't cast to my chromecast

Hi,
I am using redmi note 8 pro and I have two other phones redmi note 6 and redmi note 4. All of these have the latest version of vlc installed
Somethign strange I found today. I was able to cast with Redmi note 4 but with the other two latest model I was not able. It keeps showing the black screen. I checked all he settings they are same on all the three devices.
Is there any one facing the same issue?
If there is any developer out there please get it fixed. I am great fan of vlc and use vlc as my default player.

I suggest a workaround : install and use Google's Home application to force launching the screen cast.
I also notice from time to time the chromecast icon doesn't appear in VLC or doesn't work well.

Could you also please share some logs?
Reproduce the issue and then go to: Settings > Advanced > Debug logs. Then share the logs with the sharing service you prefer (Google Drive, Dropbox, pastebin...).
