I recently installed Tonido on my home network as google play is moving to youtube music and I am not a fan of commercials to listen to my own music
However Tonido is (as far as I can tell) not supported anymore, but works well for a lot of things.
One of which is accessing files on a web share. Here is an example.

The Tonido Audio Player on android is rather problematic but if I need to use it I will.
My hopes was that I could access these files (or another web share, I have an ASUS router with the ability to access files remotely as well.)
And play them using VLC instead a the player is massively more powerful and stable.
Any thoughts on accessing web shares and playing them on VLC?
