How to define IP to reach my computer behind LAN

Postby pigooman » 29 Dec 2005 02:58

My friend is trying to connect to my computer to watch the streams. But my computer is behind the LAN. So my IP is 192.168.x.x but my router's IP is the visible IP to the rest of the world. How can someone connect to my computer behind the router. I mean is there any context they would have to use to specify which comuter behind the LAN to reach to.

I hope I said everything clearly.

Please help in this case!!!!!!!!!!

You have to forward the ports in your router, google should give you enough info.
