Read or export current playlist via script

Hello,

is it possible to read directly the current playlist via a batch script? With "directly" I mean to get the output directly on command prompt without an export to a file.

If the output directly not possibly, how to export the current playlist to a file?

In the VLC full command line help [vlc --full-help] such "export" command is not handled.
