Dolby Vision Problem?

Hii y'all - I have an .m2ts of The Matrix and it have the Dolby Vision technology, it's the first time that I have this kind of .m2ts, it's the bigger one, i mean like 63 GBs - 2 days trying to download it u know, AND when it is finished I CAN'T PLAY IT!!

VLC can't do that? please help me :'3

Sorry VLC can't play it at this moment. You have to wait for official DOLBY VISION support.

All Blu-ray discs are protected by AACS or BD+ technology which encrypts the output. Since vlc is an open source media player it can't play encrypted videos out of the box. See this site for workaround: https://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=176924

Sorry VLC can't play it at this moment. You have to wait for official DOLBY VISION support.

Dolby Vision is proprietary software which means in order to use it you have to acquire a license. Licenses are not free and therefore won't become available on open source media players like vlc.

At the moment Dolby Vision can only be found on Blu-ray, either discs or Blu-ray streams. All commercial Blu-ray software is encrypted with AACS or BD+ technologies and therefore vlc won't be able to play it without infringing DRM and that's not going to happen.
