Increase Applescript definitions

I think it is FANTASTIC that VLC is an Applescript-capable app! I actually use those functions fairly extensively…

It would be really great to have a few more commands/controls added to VLC's script definitions dictionary.

The main and most important that comes to my mind is:
"Playback rate"
This could be added to the Properties of Application of the VLC Suite (along with audio desync and volume, etc.)



But it would also be nice for Applescript to have access to any of the commands which can be assigned a keyboard shortcut.
