Record Button Gone?

Postby kallistae » 22 Mar 2020 05:54

I am new to this program after years of using KMPlayer, and I am aware that the record button doesn't show up on default. I looked under the view menu, to make the record button visible but apparently it has moved? It is now under playback, and I find that very inconvenient. Not to mention, it doesn't seem to even work. I select it and the clip I supposedly recorded doesn't appear anywhere in my files. Is there any way to get the record button back? It would make my life so much easier, not to mention I would be able to be more exact with how long I want my clips.

Thank you!

There never have been a record button in the macOS interface, it was always a menu item. You can also use the keyboard shortcut shown in the menu.

Oh okay, thank you for your help. I have tried using the record function, and I'm not sure where the clips are saving, or if they're saving anywhere at all.
