How limit the file size of a streaming capture with the options commands

Postby Nemesis666 » 14 Mar 2020 18:59

Hi,

I dont find the list of options command on the wiki, and I think this is what I need.

I explain my issue :

In 2 weeks, I need to use my phone to record a video (with audio) on a remote server (RTSP, through VLC, blablabla).

My problem is : the files generated are HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE, and cant be opened in Adobe Premiere Pro if they are too massive (if they are smaller it's okay).

So my idea is : there is probably an "option" to set "create a new file when it's too huge".

Any idea :D ?

Thx a lot :p !

Thank you Rémi (it seems we come from the same country and we are homonym xD ).

For the transcode I chose MPEG4-3500kbps/ACC-512kbps, but we are talking about 5 or 6h of video xD .
