VLC 3.2.7 Android freezing with multicast

Hello,

I am implementing VLC into my IPTV App. I am streaming to IP 239.0.1.2:20480

VLC version 3.2.7 on Samsung Tab 8 and Galaxy S6. They start the stream well and after 3 to 5 minutes they both freeze.

In parallel, as a sanity check I have the PC running VLC 3.0.8 and it never freezes the PC is very resilient it even resumes when I pause the streaming server whereas the Android App has to be restarted.

Can anyone shed some light?

I offer a bounty to the person who can help me to make my App more robust. Actually I am looking for a VLC consultant with strong VLC knowledge.
