Video Kiosk,playlist, select options

Hi there,

I was wondering if the following can be done with VLC on a windows mini PC.
I want to useVLC player in Kiosk mode with Autostart.

- jpg or video on loop as Home screen (autostart)
- controlled only from a USB Numpad
- option to play full playlist with reduced volume
- option to select/play individual Video (maximum of 10 Videos) and jump back to JPG/video home screen

additionally is there a script to always keep VLC the active application e.g, when any other application pops up a message, the VLC player will jump back as foreground application, so it can always be controlled via USB Numpad (no mouse connected). I wrote a script something like this for OSx years ago, don`t know how to do this in windows.
