Metadata (ID3 tags) not shown for streamed files

Hi all,

When I use VLC for Android v3.1.7 or VLC for Linux v3.0.8 to play MP3 files downloaded via HTTP from my server, the metadata (ID3 tags) are not shown, but if I save the same file locally and play it, the metadata for album, artist and track is shown.

Is this known behaviour, or is there an open request for this? If not I can raise an issue.
