some problems width start

[VLC 0.8.4 and GUI]

Hi all!
When I try

Code: Select all

vlc vlc --intf wx wxvlc

in terminal

Code: Select all

troorl@troorl_star ~ $ vlc VLC media player 0.8.4a Janus Remote control interface initialized, `h' for help

and no GUI interface
What I'm doing wrong?

i have the same problem
i emerged vlc but when i try to run it nothing happens :s
i dont see any error messages in verbose mode

the only thing that happens is i see a hourglass starting up, something is loading for 10 seconds i guess but then nothing

Either you didn't build the wxWidgets plugin (--enable-wxwidgets) or it can't find symbols. See this topic for a way to investigate the problem.
