Confirm deletes?

I'm running VLC 3.0.4 for MacOS...

Is there a setting somewhere (that I can't find...) that forces VLC to ask for confirmation before deleting a song from VLC? I find myself occasionally hitting delete in the wrong spot, and the song disappears from VLC (although the file itself, of course, is not deleted). iTunes and other players typically have an option in prefs that forces the player to ask for confirmation before deleting a song from the player.
