How to stream Decklink output via VLC [Capture Mode: Decklink not found]

Postby ShadowMaster » 10 Jan 2019 12:26

Dear VideoLAN Forum Users,

I want to stream the Decklink output with VLC. I downloaded the BlackMagic SDK.
VLC can show me the output from Decklink if I use this commentline:

Code: Select all

vlc decklink:// --daemon --decklink-video-connection="sdi" --decklink-card-index=0
Now I want to stream the output from the decklink card but in setting stream... ->Capture Device -> Capture Mode
I cant find a mode for the Decklink Card.
I can only choose between Video Camera, TV digital, TV analog, JACK Audio Connection Kit and Desktop.
Did I forget something to download or to add ?

Using VLC Media Player 2.2.5.1 Umbrella and Linux Ubuntu 14.04

Many thanks in advance.
