Playback m3u8: Audio playback breaks regularly

I would like to playback or download the ts (transport stream) provided via the following m3u8 playlist: http://wtv.ivideo.sina.com.cn/app/recor ... 1754097930

However, during playback in VLC the audio regularly (each ~5 sec) breaks. This does not happen when I watch the video in the browser: http://video.sina.com.cn/l/p/1713429.html

Is there some issue with the m3u8 or ts (transport stream)?
