SMB Network Shares Not Working

I'm having no luck opening shared folders on Windows 10 PC's with VLC. When I attempt to open a shared folder, VLC says "Loading" and just spins and spins and spins. I've tried VLC on iPhones, iPads, AppleTV's, and Android phones. I've tried VLC on all these devices on two completely different networks. Network shares (samba) works fine with other apps on all the devices on both networks. Any idea when/if accessing network shares will be fixed for VLC? I tried the latest nightly build for Android (Arm8), but it has the same issue.

You need to enable support for SMBv1 on your Windows installation for now. It is off by default and so far VLC does not support SMBv2 or SMBv3.
