os.execute doesn't work anymore

Hello,

I had to switch from Win 7 to Win 10 (no Update, installed it fron scratch). In VLC player I use a lua extension which runs a VB6 program named DeleteIt which deletes files by moving them to the recycle bin. This worked fine with Win 7, but in Win 10 nothing happens.

DeleteIt runs fine when startet from Explorer or command line, but not when started by VLC lua with os.execute. Tried to run both VLC and DeleteIt as Administrator, disabled UAC, nothing works.
