copy paste problem

I am downloading video from YouTube. Here are my steps and where I am having a problem.

Steps:
1. Copy url from YouTube
2. VLC- Media> Open network stream> paste url> click play
3. VLC- Tools> Codec information> copy location
4. Paste into address bar in Chrome> enter
5: Right click> save video as
Everything works fine until after about the 4th paste attempt. After that it keeps pasting the next previous one from before. I know kinda confusing. Let me try to show you.

Video #1 paste url works
Video #2 past url works
Video #3 past url works
Video #4 past url works
Video #5 past url ...now it actually paste the url from video #1
Video #5 try paste url again now it actually paste url from video#2
this continues in a loop.

I tried this
Restart VLC
Open recent media and clear
Updated to version 3.0.3

Any ideas?

Hello,

I am at 10 different videos successfully pasted to the browser, and no loop yet...
Have you tried with another browser (Firefox, Edge, etc.) or another platform ?
