Swscale is not included in Filters on/off checkbox options

Postby formula » 18 Aug 2018 22:25

It's only listed in the Filters list but not in the on/off checkbox list so there's no way to enablle it.

Also, anyone know what exactly the eight identicle "Mac OS hardware video filters" options are?
Oddly enough, those are NOT in the Filters list and only in the on/off checkbox list?

Screenshot posted on Imgur. No idea if it will show in the post so I'll included a link directly to Imgur as well.

If you change video size property, swscale is auto
:!: If you want your problem to be solved :
* First read troubleshooting guide VSG:Main
* Always provide verbose LOGS ! (command line or from gui)
* Always check your issue against a developer build from Nightly Build of VLC
* Tell us when your problem is solved !

Thank you. I've a quick follow-up question to your response: In my particular case, I use VLC in a fixed window size with Video Auto Scaling turned on. You are suggesting Swscale is auto-engaging all the time then since it's permanently set to auto scale to my fixed window size? Correct or not necessarily?

Thanks again for the help so far. (Would still like some info on the eight "Mac OS hardware video filters" checkboxes if you can.)
