Accessing Cameras (Duhua and Foscam) from Apple TV

Postby rh750 » 10 Jun 2018 15:58

I am trying to access my cameras (I have Duhua and Foscam) from VLC on apple TV.
For Duhua the following command works on the VLC player for my MBP
rtsp://192.168.1.44:554/cam/realmonitor?channel=1&subtype=0
Nothing seems to work for Foscam... :(

This command does not work for apple TV. Initially it never connects. The next times I get a message saying that
"Your input cannot be opened VLC is unable to open the MRL rtsp://192.168.1.44:554/cam/realmonitor?channel=1&subtype=0 check log for details."

Any suggestions on how to make this work?

TIA, Ron
