can i know why can't set volume at 200% in V3 as default like v2? bug?

i'm running v3.0.2 64bit windows 10

i have set in the Qt interface max volume displayed @ 200


and in simple preferences


i set to 200, i click save , i close vlc , open it again the the volume is back to 125

this is an intended behavior: raising high above 100% volume can end up to a strong saturation (depending on the media played).

I can admit the interface may bring confusion, sorry about that.
