Getting rid of all notifications on a second screen

Hi
I want to use VLC to show videos during concerts, with the operator selecting videos from a playlist on the laptop, and the videos themselves being shown on a second screen.

I need to get rid of all notifications on the second screen (play icon, video title, anything else that might crop up). Apologies if this is a really simple question but In need to get the system up and running quickly so any help is much appreciated!
