Shortcut to Stream Capture Device

Postby volta10 » 18 Feb 2018 07:46

Hi. I have a home pc that I would like to stream whatever audio is coming out of the sound card to a remote pc at another location over the internet. My problem is whenever the home PC restarts I have to manually go through the steps: media --> stream --> capture device --> and a bunch of steps to generate a new stream. I was wondering if there's a script that can automatically turn on the stream at PC startup? Thank you in advance!

Use your Windows scheduler to launch VLC. And then use VLC command line to open that stream.
