Can you start VLC Player in portable mode?

Can you start VLC Player in portable mode with a switch? Something like the -p switch to start Kodi in portable mode.

This is only for the nightly builds. Will this be implemented for the main VLC release?

There is no .zip file for the new release. I had to install the .exe file, create 'portable' folder and then copy the installation directory. It will be good if there is a .zip file for the portable version.
