Only half of the video shown

Postby Rainalkar » 01 Dec 2017 14:34

Hello all, I need help. I recorded a video with camstudio which opens properly with its PlayerPlus video player, but in VLC it doesn't: the whole video is shown, but it is zoomed out and fills only the left half of the vlc window. Zoom buttons do not work, but if I turn off Always Fit Window and turn on Always on Top, the video will fill the whole VLC screen vertically, but horizontally the right half is still black.

I presume that this happened because I have two screens, but I plugged one off while recording and on PlayerPlus this doesn't happen. So, to summarise:
-video is split: the left part is what was truly recorded, and the right is black
-when zooming in via Always On Top, it zooms in on the centre part of the video, meaning I get the right half of what was really recorded and the left part of the black half. If I could somehow just move the video left-right I could get only the recorded part to show on screen,

Could you help? Thank you so much!
