DVB-C TimeShift not working?

Hello,

when using VLC 2.2.6 with DVB-C and want to use time shifting, I get this error message:

core input error: EsOutTimeshift does not work with streams that have pace control

My TV service provider has changed some technical things like channels etc. in recent months. Last year time shift has always worked.
Time shift does not work, no matter if I watch a TV channel using MPEG2 or H.264.

Is there anything I can do like changing some settings?

This may be a general DVB thing, thus I posted here.
