Can,t delete watched items with the new IOS 11

There appears to be a glitch with the new app for IOS11. After watching a show, I hold down the show I want to delete and the circle in the top left corner shows up and is very jittery. I touch the circle and the check mark shows up for a split second and then disappears. Is there a fix coming or am I missing a new delete method? Please help.
