Stream to s browser

The wiki which deals with streaming to a browser is out of date and I think something different in VLC is the reason I'm getting an error 404 on my website. Can anyone take me through the steps please.

* First read troubleshooting guide VSG:Main
* Always provide verbose LOGS ! (command line or from gui)
* Always check your issue against a developer build from Nightly Build of VLC
* Tell us when your problem is solved !
