How do I change the rewind setting from 10 seconds

Hi, first of all. Thank you. I am using this program for several tasks, mostly, the ability to pause and rewind. For instance, as I analyze audio conversations and want to go back and re-listen to what was just said; to work on my Hebrew by reading the Bible in Hebrew and from time to time rewinding to re-listen to a particular word; and to transcribe conversations for my book on Mediation skills.

QUESTION: I wish to reprogram the short rewind button from 10 seconds to 2 seconds. How do I do that? What is the right forum for my question?

There is an option in VLC preferences:
Tools > Preferences > Show settings = All > Interface \ Hotkeys settings: Short jump length [10]
