Dropbox music files will not play one after the other (VLC/Iphone/IOS)

Postby zeit » 27 May 2017 23:22

Hi! I uploaded a folder of .mp3 files via Dropbox so that I can play them "on the go" on my iPhone. I have VLC installed. It plays the first file but will not follow on through to the next file. How can I fix this?

After trying several times to fix the issue, I decided to create a VLC playlist file (.m3u), then uploaded it the folder of music files but that doesn't work either. Says it cant find the file (looks like it's looking for the path on my hard drive) Regardless, that didn't seem to work as either.

Any help is appreciated, I'd love to get this to work! :)

I have the same. I wonder why this imho simple function is not there. Anyone from the experts?

I saw a YT video "apple tv 4 nas hack" that shows how to create VLC IOS playlists maybe you can do something similar. The video showed how to create SMB NAS playlists loops that are accessible from an ATV4, IPAD and IPhone.
