VLC won't load on my suse 9.2

Postby GundamSFT.com » 10 Nov 2005 00:54

I am using Suse 9.2 for a video capture system with my WinTV tuner and VLC, but VLC won't load up in the GUE or in command prompt. All it dose is start to load then crash with no error after about a Minuit of wasted time in GUE. All the Lib's are installed and MPlayer still works fine but it dose not do video capture and streaming.

I don't know whats wrong. I have un-installed the player and installed back dated versions as well as recompiling the RPM from the source myself but this is a bit to much for me. All I need is how to get it to work. I am using WindowsXP Pro as my other OS for gaming but I know Linux is just better overall for speckle per pus work.
