VLC does not use connected standby/instantgo when streaming internet radio

Postby lordvincent » 16 Apr 2017 19:50

This is on a windows 10 MS surface pro 3 tablet.

When the computer enters connected standby the app is supposed to continue to play whatever media is playing, but if streaming internet radio the audio stops when the PC enters connected standby (instantgo).

However it does work and continue to play a locally stored file (like an mp3) when in connected standby.

I suspect that this is a bug, but maybe someone has experienced this and has a solution.

I don't think we will support InstantGo.
