vlc and skin in kubuntu 14.04

I have downloaded a skin.

I have no skins folder in /home/.local/share/vlc

Do I need to make a folder in vlc titled skins?

what does.vit mean

You asked two questions and I did help you find the answer to the second, and I didn't answer the first because I already helped you out on that question in your other post about it.

But to reiterate here, on your first question, the answer is no. (although you SHOULD create one titled skins2... :wink: just like the instructions say)
